Personnel Services
| Initial Consultation | Free, includes discussion of project details, budget and timeline |
| Engineering Analysis | $325 per hour, includes travel* |
| Laboratory Work | $325 per hour + applicable expenses |
| Depositions | $375 per hour, includes any preparation time |
| Trial | $375 per hour, includes waiting and any pre-trial review |
| Retainer** | Required for larger jobs, applied against time & costs |
* Travel time is negotiable depending on distance and duration
** Retainer amount is negotiated at onset of project
Materials, Travel and Transportation Expense

| Mileage | $0.75 per mile plus parking and tolls |
*** NME contracts with several materials analysis labs for any specialized materials characterization, this may include SEM, AFM, EDS, Certified mechanical testing, etc. More basic analysis such as: optical microscopy, metallography, hardness testing, etc. are done in-house and included in the personnel rate of $325 /hour. Note in some instances a larger retainer may be required if extensive contract lab work is required.
